Delivering Stage 4 Technical Design packages to BIM Level 2 compliance standards

During my time here, I worked closely with the design team on a variety of projects, ranging from bespoke interiors to developing and presenting architectural concepts and design strategies for low and high rise buildings for an area of Manchester’s Strategic Regeneration Framework. Some of the key roles during this experience involved:

Contract Revit Technician
Working closely with the engineers at Max Fordham, my role was to assist the team issue two large-scale projects under strict deadlines. This experience entailed using Revit MEP at RIBA Stages 3 and 4,completing engineering admin tasks in preparation for submittal using BIMLink and document control.

MADEstudio
Architectural Assistant
MADEstudio was a small team which focused mainly on industrial and residential projects in Malta. I was responsible for the façade designs of three large residential complexes and designing the landscape of its pedestrian zone. Using sketches, Rhino, Revit, AutoCAD and Photoshop I presented design concepts
to the team at MADEstudio.

Archiplus Architect's Studio
Design Intern
During my fourth year as an architecture student, I applied as an intern at Archiplus Architect’s Studio in Malta. My major roles were to prepare concept and architectural drawings for client meetings, develop 3D models using Sketchup, assist the project manager on site, conduct progress reports and to design the interior layouts for a villa and smaller residential projects.
